What classes do you teach?
BodyPump, BodyCombat, and Les Mills Core. Also certified in group fitness, Silvers Sneakers and BodyBalance (fka BodyFlow).
What do you love about group fitness?
I love that it brings people together and makes fitness less intimidating for all.
What is your #1 piece of advice for anyone new to your class(es)?
If you are new, don't get frustrated. The first couple of classes are the hardest ones.
What is your #1 piece of advice for your regulars?
Push yourself every time you come to the gym, and have fun!
Combat favorite move: the evasive side kick. Pump favorite move is anything shoulders, like the rear deltoid raises. Les Mills Core favorite move is definitely the hover.
What is your technique pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is people talking in class during tracks or during instructions.
What's your favorite workout song that always gets you amped up?
"How Deep is Your Love" by Calvin Harris (also the lunge track from Pump 97).
